By accessing or using MealSpector at www.mealspector.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

MealSpector is a free educational game operated by Kopec InnoTech s.r.o. that helps users learn about the nutritional content of foods through comparison questions. No account or payment is required to play.

The service is provided as-is. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of MealSpector at any time without notice.

3. Nutritional data disclaimer

All nutritional values displayed in MealSpector are approximate and sourced from publicly available databases (including USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts). Values are per 100g for solid foods and per 100ml for drinks.

This data is intended for entertainment and general educational purposes only. It must not be relied upon for medical, dietary, clinical, or allergy-related decisions. Always consult a qualified health professional for personal nutrition advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from MealSpector
Attempt to manipulate the score or percentile system
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Intellectual property

All game content, design, code, and copy is owned by Kopec InnoTech s.r.o. unless otherwise noted.

Food photographs are sourced from Pexels and used under the Pexels Licence.
Nunito typeface is used under the SIL Open Font Licence.

Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use the MealSpector name, logo, or other branding.

6. Email subscription

Subscribing to MealSpector updates is entirely voluntary. By submitting your email address, you consent to receiving occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing contact@kopecinnotech.com. We will never sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

MealSpector is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kopec InnoTech s.r.o. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any nutritional data displayed.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of MealSpector are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
